Sunlight to hot water
The S400 is a solar thermal collector that turns sunlight into hot water.
The way it works is simple. Sunlight enters the collector through its high transmission solar glass side panels. The energy is absorbed by our solar coil which then becomes hot (around 75 degrees C). Water is then circulated trough the collector and is heated by the solar collector. Its as easy as that!

Frequently Asked Questions
What temperature can the collector heat to?
The SolarisKit solar collector can heat water up to 60 degrees Celsius. The temperature will depend on how much sunlight is available, outdoor air temperature, and how the collector is being used.
Is the S400 solar collector difficult to assemble?
The SolarisKit S400 solar collector has been designed to be as simple as possible to assemble. The collector can be assembled by following our step-by-step assembly video without any tools.
How can I use the S400 solar collector?
The S400 solar collector turns sunlight into hot water by heating water circulating through the collector. The heated water can be used for a range of applications from heating your above ground swimming pool to heating water for your home.
Can multiple collectors be connected together?
Yes! Its easy to have multiple collectors connected to form a much larger array of solar collectors using 12mm quick connect fittings. We recommend a maximum of 3-5 collectors connected in a single row. Larger arrays can be created by joining multiple rows together.
